Upon.You Records was founded in February 2007 by DJ & producer Marco Resmann. The label has grown into a major force in the international electronic music circuit with regular label-events at two of Berlin’s most praised venues: Watergate Club and the infamous Panoramabar.
Cats&Dogs, organized by 4BRTHRS & Wildcats, nowadays a steadily rolling event at ‘De Club Up’, has been developing rapidly this last year. It’s an event that doesn’t follow the common standards of booking DJ’s. Cats&Dogs doesn’t just book the local and international popular DJ’s, instead they program exactly what they like: new talent gets a place behind the decks, together with established and talented underground artists. This way, Cats&Dogs’ resident DJ’s such as Mispoes, Ricky Doël and Wesley Roberts have been steadily growing with each event.
For their first ADE edition, Cats&Dogs invites the Upon.You label boss himself, Marco Resmann, to celebrate the label’s 8th anniversary. Together with ONNO & Echonomist, Cats&Dogs will provide you with a special showcase at VLLA this Amsterdam Dance Event 2016. Expect a solid mix between the talents and the masters.
