In this project curator Jelle van der Plas asked people from his direct surroundings to come together to make an exhibition, showing different media from fashion to painting. The aim of the show is to find a way to connect the music that will be played at this club-night, to the visual work that’s going to be shown upstairs.
Mixtape Expo
The expo will be like a mixtape. Maybe there don’t seem to be many similarities from a conceptual point of view, however there is an underlying connection that’s hard to catch. The same goes for music. It’s possible to mix really abstract new wave to a 90’s popsong in a way that still makes sense. The exhibit will transform throughout the night: when the music changes, the exhibition will change.

You can find the exhibition space near the toilets, upstairs, overlooking the dance-floor.
